I manage this project together with my colleagues Prof Christian Schuster (UCL) and Dr Kim Sass Mikkelsen (Roskilde).
The project has developed ethical leadership training for civil servants in Nepal and Bangladesh and assesses the consequences of training participation for ethical behaviour in the civil service. The project was funded by the Global Integrity Anti-Corruption Evidence Programme.
In Bangladesh, the project was implemented in collaboration with Bangladesh Police. It involved the training of 1,400 police officers in one Police District of Bangladesh. A follow-up project is currently funded by the Policy Support Fund of the University of Nottingham to train police officers of an additional Police District and to train trainers of the Police Staff College.
In Nepal, we collaborated with the Inland Revenue Department and trained more than 700 tax officers from 40 Inland Revenue Officers across the country.
