Appointed Sir Francis Hill Professor of Political Science

I am deeply honoured to have been appointed as the Sir Francis Hill Professor of Political Science at the University of Nottingham. The Chair was previously held by my senior colleague and mentor, Professor Paul Heywood, who shaped the School for over 30 years and was a leading academic in the fields of European politics, corruption, anti-corruption, and integrity in government. It is a privilege to follow in his footsteps and to continue the tradition of connecting academic research with engagement in government reform and practice.
